Terms of Booking


Hire rates

Hire rates do not include provision of any Daimler Foundation personnel, except catering staff.



Day or overnight stabling is available by prior booking only.


Stable Mucking Out

All stables must be mucked out when vacated. Failure to do this will result in a £10 per stable charge, chargeable to the hirer.


Temporary Stable Clearance

A charge will be made to all hirers for the removal/clearance of bedding from any temporary stables used.



Daimler Foundation enforces a strict policy on stable bedding. All bedding must be shavings.  We do not allow wood chip & straw under any circumstances, to be used. The Daimler Foundation reserve the right to remove all such bedding and replace with flax or Hemp at the hirers cost.



Morris Equestrian Centre enforces a policy of strictly no outside caterers being allowed on site. In the event of this any traders/caterers will be asked to leave immediately. Due to the law no home baking and food produced outwith the centre is allowed to be eaten on the premises.

Opening Times

Tiffin Team Room 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday

Daimler Bar & Kitchen Thursday – Saturday 5pm to 8.30pm

If you wish the catering facilities open out with these times it must be arranged prior to the show with the Food and Beverage Manager. There may be a charge for extending the hours of the catering services.


Trade Stands

Trade stand area available by separate negotiation, annual licences for traders are available, please contact for more information. Daimler Foundation has business partnerships with several equestrian companies including our resident photographerEquiscot                          Tel 07976583841 and reserves the right for these businesses to attend any event held at Daimler Foundation.


Electric Hook-Up

Electric hook-up is available to trade stands and exhibitors and must be pre-booked prior to any event and fee paid.


Mucking out

Mucking out onto the car park (hardstanding/grass) is strictly forbidden. In the event of this a charge will be levied to the hirer for clearance.


Arena surfaces

All surfaces must be poo picked during your event all poo must be removed from the arena at the end of the hire failure to remove poo during your event will receive a £200 fine.  Arena party must be made up of Daimler Foundation Staff and only approved Daimler staff that have been trained on the equipment ie harrows Tractors etc can only use the equipment. Any damage done to the surface or the equipment will be billed to the Hirer.



Dogs must be kept on leads at all times, any fouling must be picked up immediately, wrapped and deposited in a refuse bin. Dogs are not permitted inside Tiffin’s Tearoom or the bar area.



The centre must be left clean and tidy with litter removed from around the main arena, warm up and show office hire will be charged at a rate of £20.00 per man hour for a cleaning up the centre.


Car/Lorry Parking

Daimler Foundation has extensive car and lorry parking in designated hard-standing and grass areas. Strictly no parking is allowed in the entrance, driveway, or on the public highway. Any vehicles parked inappropriately will be immediately towed away.


Adverse Weather

In the event of adverse weather affecting the ground condition, Daimler Foundation reserves the right to a) restrict the use of certain areas of the showground and/or b) if necessary, implement a further charge to make good any areas of the showground damaged, i.e. re-seeding, harrowing etc.



All losses and breakages must be paid for in full.  This includes any damage to the jumps must be fixed by the hire or pay for the jump to be fixed.



Music may not be played on the PA system unless licence applied for and paid for at time of booking.


Public and Employee Liability

The hirer must take out appropriate employee and public liability insurance cover and a copy of the insurance certificate(s) must be provided to Daimler Foundation before the event commences. If no evidence of insurance cover is provided then the event will not be allowed to proceed and no hire fees will be refunded.


Health and Safety

All hirers must carry out their own Health and Safety Risk Assessment and a copy must be made available a minimum of one month before the event. The hirer must provide adequate personnel to safety oversee the event including car/lorry parking attendants.



A deposit is required for all bookings at time of booking, the balance to be paid prior to the event



Unless agreed otherwise, cancellation of an event must be in writing at least two calendar months prior to the event being held to avoid all applicable charges becoming due.

6 months: loss of deposit

2 months: 50 % of cost of hire

1 month: 100% cost of hire



Daimler Foundation reserves to right to exclude or remove any persons/animals from the venue.
